Epiroc South Africa has demonstrated remarkable corporate compassion by donating a vital oxygen concentrator to Stepping Stone Palliative Care Services.
The kind donation will provide essential respiratory support for patients with life-limiting illnesses.
Bongani Ndlovu, representing Epiroc, personally presented the equipment to the Council for Health Services Accreditation of Southern Africa (CoHSASA) and five-star APCC (Association of Palliative Care Centres) accredited hospice.
The oxygen concentrator will provide reliable, continuous oxygen therapy, helping patients breathe easier and spend meaningful moments with their loved ones. This will ensure that patients continue to receive the highest quality of comfort care during their most challenging times.
“We are deeply moved by Epiroc South Africa’s incredible generosity. This oxygen concentrator represents more than equipment to us – it’s a testament to the kindness that still exists in our world, and it will directly improve the quality of life for our patients when they need it most,” said Tersia Burger, Stepping Stone Hospice founder and CEO.
She said the equipment represents a significant investment in patient comfort and quality of life.
Epiroc’s contribution exemplifies meaningful corporate social responsibility, demonstrating how businesses can make a tangible difference in their communities by supporting those in greatest need.
