Tree of Light - 28 November 2025
Stepping Stone Hospice hosts an annual tree-lighting ceremony – usually on the last Friday of November – to celebrate, honour and remember those we have lost.
For us, the tree symbolises a beacon of hope, strength and an affirmation of life.

This year’s ceremony takes place on Friday 28 November, starting at 17:30.
Everyone is welcome to join us at Stepping Stone Hospice’s Children’s In-Patient Unit (12 Glen Albyn Street, Raceview) for the lighting of the tree. There is secure parking at 14 Glen Albyn Street, Raceview.
The Alberton Mannekoor and Dameskoor as well as Harmonia Girls Choir will be performing on the evening. Bring your picnic blanket/camping chairs; food and beverages on sale.
