Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services is hosting a special collection drive for toys, decorations and preloved items, from clothing to furniture, in order to spread joy to those who need it most.

With the season of giving at our door steps, Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services is hosting a special collection drive for toys, gently used decorations, preloved clothing items and second hand furniture.

From teddy bears and dolls to trucks and puzzles, every donation will help the non-profit organisation raise vital funds to support their patients and families through their charity shop.

Stepping Stone Hospice founder and CEO, Tersia Burger, said the collection drive is more than just a fundraiser.

“It’s a way for us to cherish the Christmas spirit and bring joy to those who need it most. We want to spread joy among our residents and their families. These preloved items will be sold at reasonable prices to those who need it most. We’ll also be able to keep our doors open through this fundraiser,” she said.

The hospice, dedicated to providing compassionate care for patients with terminal illnesses, recognizes the importance of creating a warm and welcoming environment during these holidays.
