A night to remember

Hospice CEO, Tersia Burger, thanked the ladies for their generous support and spoke of Stepping Stone Hospice’s ‘next chapter’ – a future Hospice Village, complete with adolescent wing to provide specialized care for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses. She also presented the organization’s current ‘Last Wishes’ fundraising campaign, which highlights some of the behind-the-scenes work that Stepping Stone does to help fulfill, where possible, the final wishes of patients.

The evening ended with a lucky-prize draw, which included a midweek break for four in Dullstroom, kindly sponsored by Trevor and Marelize Howard and won by an elated Elani Fox.

The evening was the perfect precursor to National Women’s Day in celebrating the power of women and the difference they can make by uplifting, encouraging and supporting one another.
