Having attended both the opening round of the tournament on Saturday 20 May, as well as the final on 24 June, Tersia thanked the ladies for choosing Stepping Stone Hospice as their beneficiary and for a great event on the final day, where the club invited the community to come and show their support for hospice by hosting a family fun day, with the sale of pancakes, boerie rolls as well as a selection of second-hand goods and books from the hospice’s charity shops.
Tersia reiterated that without the support of people like the ladies of the bowling club, as well as the Stepping Stone Hospice volunteers who gave of their time to man the food and charity-goods tables, “our hospice would simply not exist.”
