An Alberton resident who wishes to remain anonymous sponsor, heard of the plight at the hospice and had a brand-new 18KVA Auto Switchover Generator installed at the hospice facility. The generator is fully contained, therefore super silent and of no disturbance to patients in the In-Patient Unit. 

Eddie Bezuidenhout from EFJ Power Solutions oversaw the installation process and is seen here with Tersia Burger, CEO at Stepping Stone Hospice. “Words cannot describe how grateful we are for this wonderful gift. We can now stay 100% operational throughout the load shedding phases, and that is just the greatest news for our patients and their families,” she says.
