Stepping Stone CEO, Tersia Burger, addressed the ladies and spoke about the work that the organization does and what a gift it is to enable a person to die with dignity. Several of the ladies in attendance expressed their thanks to Stepping Stone Hospice for the care that someone close to them had received and applauded the staff for the selfless work they do. Vice-chair, Martie Marnewick, did the hand-over on behalf of the club before everyone was treated to a delicious lunch and a lovely performance by the ladies of ‘Voices Divine’. “Stepping Stone Hospice would like to wish the Alberton Damesklub a very happy birthday and thank Chairperson, Dr Trix van der Walt, and her team for all they do for the community,” said Tersia Burger.
