Volunteers Rina Mulder and Debbie Welman both said that they were amazed at the kindness of so many ladies getting together and giving to a good cause. Their fellow volunteers agreed and added that volunteering for Stepping Stone Hospice is an extremely humble, yet satisfying experience.

“I am so proud of these ladiesand what they have achieved today,” said Tersia Burger, CEO of the organization. “Such a dynamic group with hearts of gold!”

In speaking to volunteer leader, Kia Bierman, it soon becomes clear that the pool of 25 Stepping Stone Hospice volunteers are extremely dedicated to their task. “To be a volunteer at Stepping Stone Hospice, you act in selflessness and give freely of your time to execute the tasks given to you by management. For us, it is an absolute privilege to be part of this great organization,” she says.
