According to Martin de Necker, broker owner of Remax All Stars, sales agents nationally of this real estate property group annually donate a portion of their commission towards the “fundraising pot”. The Remax Foundation donates 30% of these funds to the Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Cape Town. The balance is then distributed to the areas proportionally to what the agents in that particular area donated.

“In our case, R110 000 was available to the Alberton and Germiston Remax branches for distribution. Between us, 13 charities were chosen of which Stepping Stone Hospice was one,” says Martin. “Two of our own agents were cared for by Stepping Stone Hospice shortly before they passed away and we realized what amazing work this organization does. I trust and believe that we will be able to continue to support Stepping Stone in the future.”
