The bakkie will be mainly used to collect 2nd hand goods donated to the hospice, which in turn gets sold. The selling of 2nd hand goods has become a valuable source of income for the hospice as they are totally reliant upon the generosity of the community, public sector, fundraising, bequests, donations in lieu of flowers, patient accounts and the sale of secondhand clothes and goods.
