Muntlegging fondse na hospice

Met die vier van lentedag op 2 September 2016, het die sowat 1200 leerders van Laerskool Randhart ‘n muntlegging gehou ten bate van Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services. Verlede Dinsdag is die opbrengs van die muntlegging, net oor die R13 000, aan die bestuurshoof van Stepping Stone, Tersia Burger, tydens die skool se oggendbyeenkoms oorhandig.

In haar bedankingstoespraak het Tersia aan die leerders verduidelik wat die doel van ‘n hospice is en waarvoor die leerders se fondse aangewend sal word. “Tans kan ons die kinders in ons fasiliteit versorg nie. Maar met ons “Brick by Brick” projek waarmee ons nou geld insamel vir aanbouiings, gaan ons ‘n deel inrig net vir jong kinders waar hulle net die beste sorg kan kry en waar hulle ouers en familie hulle 24 uur ‘n dag en nag kan besoek”. Hier met die oorhandiging is Tersia Burger, Caitlyn Fairman (voorsitter van die gemeenskapsraad), projekleier Retha van As en skoolhoof, mnr Deon van Zyl.
